You Are the Gem Stone

You are the gem stone set in dull wood, Shining bright as a clear new day, You are the laughter of a bubbling brook, Before the mighty river washes it away. You are the breath of wind in the trees, Watching as branches gently move, You are the dew on old crisp leaves, Softly cleansing with renewing love. You are the night star in a dark black sky, Lighting the earth with a magical glow, Yours is the colour that catches the eye, A rainbow has none to compare that I know. Mine is to be in the luckiest place, seeing all that you have to give, There is no other time, or space, in which I would rather live.
